i am a 49 year old male that has accepted a professional position in sacramento. my wife will not be moving until our house sells, so i just need several months of renting a room by myself before my family moves out and we find different housing. i think that my minimum stay would be 3 months, but could go as long as 6 months or so. i am a quiet low maintenance person that likes to stay physically active and enjoy beer and wine. it would be nice to have a friendly relationship with whomever i rent with (males only, no females, but would possibly consider a married couple) just because i am completely new to the area and have no friends. but if you are quiet and prefer your privacy i am cool with that too as i am kind of shy and have no problem keeping to myself. i would appreciate knowing that it would not be a problem whenever my wife flies out to stay with me, and i do not see that being any more often than one weekend per month. i am really looking for an apartment or house in the downtown sacramento area so that i could be close to work, and enjoy the urban experience. i do not do drugs, and am absolutely not interested in rooming with anyone that does so themselves or has friends in the home that do them.
